TikTok App Privacy Policy

This policy covers the Small Time Devs TikTok app, operated by Small Time Devs Inc, a Wyoming corporation ("we", "us"). Our general website policy is at smalltimedevs.com/privacy.

What the app does

The app is a content-publishing tool. With your permission, it sends short videos produced by Small Time Devs to your own TikTok account as drafts, using TikTok's official Content Posting API. Each video arrives in your TikTok inbox as a draft. The app never posts publicly: you review, edit and post each draft yourself in the TikTok app.

Information we receive from TikTok

• An identifier for your TikTok account (open ID) and the permission you granted (the video.upload scope).
• An access token and a refresh token that let the app upload drafts on your behalf.

The app does not request or read your profile details, followers, messages, contacts, existing videos, viewing history or analytics.

How we use it

The tokens are used only to upload video drafts to the TikTok account that authorised the app, and to check that an upload finished. They are not used for advertising, profiling or any other purpose.

How we store and protect it

Tokens are kept encrypted in a secrets manager on systems controlled by Small Time Devs Inc and are never stored in plain text. Access is limited to the publishing system itself.

Sharing

We do not sell, rent or share your information. The only party that receives data from the app is TikTok, when a draft video is uploaded to your account.

Retention and deletion

We keep the tokens only while the connection is active. You can disconnect the app at any time from your TikTok account's app permissions, or by emailing us; we then delete the stored tokens within 30 days.

Children

The app is not directed to children under 13 and is not intended for use by them.

Changes

If we change this policy, we will post the new version here and update the date above.
